Oh, it could have been much worse, you could have been stuck in Jersey City, or Newark…or much, much worse you could have been stuck in Camden.
I've done Camden....interesting!

In a crib most likely.
I didn't get my first watch 'til 3rd grade.

And that's it !

I guess a few folks aren't familiar with American Graffiti.

George Lucas' first successful film; the tagline was catchy.

It came to mind after remembering my ref 14701 has '-62' stamped on the inner caseback.

😀

I’m envious of how much strap options for 5167. Have you seen Rubbber B offerings for yours?
None for my 5065.
I have, and there's one or two that are tempting. But I can't see wanting to do too many strap/bracelet swaps due to the trickiness of those cut-outs where the protrusions from the strap insert into the watch head. I think I spent a good hour+ the first time I swapped. Not eager for the next one!

Beloved 1986 Seiko 6309-7049 automatic for our weekly Wednesday night Dad Skate Squad club ride tonight. The 6309 is protected via the Raine Inc. protective band pictured below…during skating [and other types of hazardous operations], a protective flap is deployed over the watch head. My beloved 1981 [or 1982] restored G&S deck with original Gull Wing Pro trucks is also displayed below…it’s the board I use for Dad Skate Squad club rides. Also, our Dad Skate Squad club t-shirt with logo is displayed below the G&S deck…

Oh gee whiz…I set the wrong day in my haste to get to the club ride…no problem…I fixed it…I have the technologies…
