Darn the heat is on. Actually it’s about ninety and the humidity is at like 50% so this is not a moaning thread as I see some of you post much worse #’s but I try not to wear vintage on humid days. I have a couple vintage divers that can take it fine but we have one of those heat advisors for the next few days I’m going to stay modern.

Feeling fancy today, wearing my ‘73 Spaceview

I think I recognize that watch! Have I seen it before? 😁 Still looking good, and it is good that you haven’t sold it like you were once thinking you might. Mine says hello.

Needed some comfort after having a disastrous trip where I was stranded for four days in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

Oh, it could have been worse. You could have been stuck in Kearny, NJ...

My wife recently told me she thinks brown straps look good with blue dial watches. I was wearing tan today any way, so to "mancessorize" my watch to my clothing and desperately attempt to get lucky later this evening, I put this strap on the blue Eterna. Keep your collective fingers crossed for me fellas. ::facepalm1::

Listening to your wife: smart guy. My strategy is to choose two watches I'm thinking of wearing any particular day, and asking my wife which she prefers. Win-win.

Oh, and I like your combo!

"Where were you . . .

. . . in '62?"

In a crib most likely.
I didn't get my first watch 'til 3rd grade.

And that's it !

Oh, it could have been much worse, you could have been stuck in Jersey City, or Newark…or much, much worse you could have been stuck in Camden.
