Hot August sun and 102F sucks the rose right out of the gold on the 18kt Longines with 27M movement from the late 1940s. The Sunday-go-to-meeting choice with lunch afterward with Mrs. noelekal and a couple of church widow ladies.

I was set up for some yard work today but weather didn’t cooperate. Had an in the house “honey due” list but spent some time reading a couple books. So wearing my Rado I took in some philosophy I know this book probably makes me look like a real Beatles geek (I am) but the author did a very interesting job tying different philosophical thought together with some of the Beatles lyrics clearing stating the Beatles were not writing philosophy, actually they were intentionally not writing philosophy but the book comes together well

Evening switcheroo to my modern 1861 for a short 1:16:21.8 Sunday cruise on my “gimmick bike”. Even though I’m an old and washed up time trialist, I still like to ride all my bikes for fun…including my Colnago K.Zero TT bike…
