The 'Swiss' text is there, even though it's impossible to make out. Here's a pic of the dial:



On my computer I can expand the image enough to make out faint traces of ink where 'Swiss' should be under the 6 marker. The text would be too small to be legible against engraving the same size. But the ink's there.
