This funky 70s enicar today... Love that silky blue dial, some blemishes on the edge notwithstanding
I really love oddball insignias on Watch dials.
Not a fan of the shape but I like the Dial

I’ve been away awhile, I Lost my rock, my dad, and everything else seems pretty small right now.

So sorry to learn of your loss @dougiedude , I can appreciate how you feel. My Dad's burial was just a month ago yesterday. Both of my parents passed away within six weeks of each other. They were our anchor, so at times I feel somewhat adrift and without a friendly harbour for shelter. They say time heals and that is my hope right now,

Shoot too busy today cutting things down and spreading chemicals. Watered my neighbors garden as he is away, the TAG took it all well. Sorry two shots one with the phone case off trying to figure out what up with my camera I think I messed up the settings on it when I was trying to take film noir pics of my cat

I’ve been traveling back-and-forth to where he lived, but I did take my bike, and one watch; I got in a nice ride with the first sweat proof watch of mine that caught my eye as I hurriedly packed, but this Aquascaphe is pretty darn photogenic in the right light…

…and with the right brew!
So sorry for your loss

so sorry for your loss, watches sometimes so insignificant, but hopefully the community here gives you some comfort.

Thank you, kind friends.

It’s strange how my passion for watches, and posting about them, waxes and wanes, depending on many factors.

I’m thinking the passion will return even stronger once I can fully adjust to the loss of the original ‘anchor’ (thanks, Richard) in my life journey…

I’m trying to look forward to a new leg in that journey…

Cheers!

Back in town... And it feels good to change watch again, so decided to give my Deauville 155.007 a bit of wrist time.

I really love this watch, it is elegant and looks sporty at the same time

Something a bit different for me, a modern 😁.

I have been so busy the last few weeks with about 12 new (Old) vintage watches coming into my collection after service and repair then a couple of weeks wearing each one to confirm that the regulation was on point for all of them that I haven't had a chance to keep the Kinetic topped up.

I use this watch as my standard for time keeping of all my vintage mechanical watches as it has to be the most accurate mechanical ( hybrid) analogue watch in my collection and it's never more than 1 second out at the end of a year, which I find amazing, its much more accurate than all of my other quartz watches digital or analogue though I did pick up a Casio digital sport watch a couple of months ago that might be a close contender, time will tell 🙄
