One of my favourites of the Super Compressors. Beauty!

Thanks! Just got it, but I've wanted this reference for a while. Quite a bit of fun to wear!

PP 6119R - Why yes, that is a glimpse of translucent white leg in the background, despite aggressive cropping. I enjoy the dorky mismatch of dress watch with shorts/tee. Such a rebel.

These four watches were all I needed this week.

The 5512 was a special treat in the line up this week. Even so, it could not compete against this 1002, which has become my favorite watch to wear. I have not gotten tired of looking at its dial yet. (I struggle to try to capture its allure in a photo.)

When cooking vegetables or pasta, nothing else will do - my -74 that I’ve owned since ‘82 (married in, timed contractions, motocrossed with, etc.)

I sleep with this one.

I could dig out other watches, but these cover it for me.

And, my heartthrob one more time.

Doxa to finish the weekend… HAGD All! 👍

@Darlinboy : I just spent twenty minutes on the Doxa website, and I’m blaming you.

You like it?

I’m tempted pretty hard, but I also love this one.

Many have come and gone over the years but this one has always stood the test of time and will continue to do so 😀

This just back from my WM.
I bought it a couple of weeks ago as a not going watch but was very surprised on opening the back to find all the auto gears and oscillating weight were not there.
Googling the ETA calibre it became obvious that the movement was mostly used in Tudor and Rado watches so my guess is that when this went faulty back in the distant past some one swiped the parts for a much more expensive Rado or Tudor. The only other fault was the mainspring barrel had some damaged teeth which was obviously the original underlying fault.
I probably paid much more than the value of the watch to repair it but it looks wonderful so just had to do it.
