·As I finished reading my previous book yesterday, picked up again a book I've been trying to read for almost 2 decades!! For the first 10 years, I read and re-read the first 50 pages over and over... A couple of months ago, something happened (other than Covid), and I managed to read the first 312 pages!! Then I stopped, read 2 other books... And I am back at it trying to finish it, still 300 pages to go.
I have a love and hate relationship with this particular book. It is globally good, Ibut it is sometimes quite monotonous in a sense. Now, I take it as a personal challenge to finish after all those years!!

·We arrived back home on Friday, after a few days, camping. I wore a “utility” watch while away. So it was time to change to one of my favourites. But which one? I opened up my storage case to make the difficult choice. Not difficult at all, as it turned out! There, staring at me was my mid-50s Omega, date at 6:00, calibre 355, with yesterday’s date (11th), showing. No need to have to re-set the date, (a chore on these old guys). So for today (and a few more days), it is this one.
