Where's that tan NATO from? Looks like the ones IWC has been using, with the leather / rubber pinhole strip.
Well in order to answer your question I will need to do some post farming and show another watch in this thread which will partly include an IWC but no this NATO is from the Rado captain Cook. This particular model came with leather, mesh and a NATO. I was going to put it on myself put my watch maker always gives me discounts so I figured I’d have him install it and pay him. Well didn’t work he installed and said no charge. Not sure I’m diggin the way he put in on, I might change it. I did pic up my IWC dial and movement as he had no case around to fit it.

Huh interesting - the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical (and maybe other models) come with a similarly constructed NATO. So the Swatch Group has some nice NATO strap supplier cruising around out there somewhere... really would love to know who it is so we can custom-order some of these things!

I was looking online. I just picked up this Rado a few weeks ago in a package deal I went on Rados website to check out different natos if I wanted a different color or style seems they run around 130 bucks. What do you think these cost to make? A couple bucks. They can charge whatever they like of course no one is forced to buy anything I just find it kind of funny.

This one doesn’t get much wrist time. If Seiko and Nomos had a fun nite, this would be the result.
That is the most interesting watch I’ve seen in a long while, would you be so kind to post the model number.

I keep this mangy old seiko in my @Duracuir1 hand made leather watch holder. I pretty sure the Duracuir company is doing the Rolex thing by making you get on a waiting list to obtain their products to make them even more prestigious. I won’t mention the fact that Duracuir doesn’t charge for his products of course as that would ruin my lame attempts at busting chops.

well I got the seiko ready to go last night for work this AM but damn I woke up sick as a dog. Actually called out first time this year. My wife was looking at me very oddly as I did the “seiko shake” to get the watch running for the morning but she did point out I now hold the watch over my head as I do the “seiko shake” and incorporated a dance move into the whole process. I had to step back and observe myself and I’ll be darned if she ain’t right, I have now made a two minute “seiko shake dance” with the watch held high above my head. I have no clue how long it’s been going on but it works, it was running and keeping perfect time when I took it out of the fine Duracuir holder so she can laugh all she wants. By the way this is one of my favorite watches which is why I keep it in the Duracuir, I know it’s not a true pouge but I just can’t see getting all worked up about that. If I ever come across a reasonably priced one, probably never, I would try to pick one up but having this I just don’t see the need to bother.
I'm well acquainted with this ritual, although I don't think I hold mine over my head. And being a white guy, I know better than to try to dance during the winding... or anything else.
The lack of the option to wind the old Seiko autos with the stem is my least favorite feature. But they are generally terrific movements.

Oh come on that is one of the greatest dance moves of all time. It went viral and people were doing it on tik toc and what not so it must be good. By the way I do an excellent mick jagger on stage dancing impersonation. I think I got it down better than him now. So don’t think just because your white you can’t bust out the moves. What If Fred Astaire had such thoughts. Oh I got the moves no doubt.

Oh I went looking too but here in the US at least they run $70. With the leather / rubber trim it probably costs a tiny bit more than a regular cheap NATO but sure, you're definitely paying a markup for the branded buckle. Hence why I'd like to find their supplier because they probably run closer to $30-50 if purchased direct (plus customization options which you obv can't get from the off-the-shelf selection on the Rado or Hamilton websites and such)
