Went on a 5km jaunt in the hills near our home, fortunately Dirk Pitt's favourite watch had no problem with fine, cool mist...

...this is the point on the walk when the Pacific Ocean usually comes into view, but not today...

...and then there was this critter on the trail, a juvenile Western Diamondback...my third rattlesnake encounter since March of this year...

...but fortunately the cool weather kept this dude/dudette in a relatively lethargic state, and it was easy to gently encourage it to leave the trail. The creature was so cold it couldn't even vibrate its tail...poor thing.

Can’t compare with this scenery 🙁

This Omega automatic that I bought from Fred in late December has quickly become my favorite watch of late. I had it serviced and the crystal replaced. It is 95F here today, so I am manccessorizing with a pair of golf shorts. No shirt, so as to keep it a family site and not offend anyone, I took a close up. ::facepalm1::
