    And the good ones aren’t cheap. I think that the best bets right now are the 3590.50s from the late 80’s to the mid 90’s. Last of the tritium models, the 1479/812 is an excellent bracelet, and this reference is appreciating nicely.

    I’m about to embark on an exciting journey with only one watch.

    Numerous reasons why I chose this Ball Trainmaster, but the all-night long tritium lume was a major factor :D

    Hmm... exciting journey where all-night lume is important. Implies some danger, and darkness from either a remote location or spotty / non-existent electricity. Are you hiking in the mountains of Alaska or visiting California? ::stirthepot::

    Essentially the same thing. The 3590.50 uses the 861 also. They tend to be a bit less expensive than the 145.022 because they fall into the neo-vintage category.
