Switched from a Speedy to a chrono that would show the day and date of an important life event: the second COVID-19 jab (the chronograph registers show the end of the 15 minute post-injection observation period). The experience had a bit of wartime feel to it, with vaccinations being done in a city park while sitting at a picnic table.
Regulars here have seen this one before and better photographed than as I captured it this morning . . . So you won't be surprised by this unusual new acquisition! Yin, meet Yang . . .
Switch for the evening. BTW, that's the Crew-1 mission time at 148 days. They completed a "port-relocation" last week and are scheduled for an April 28th return. Crew-2 is scheduled to go up April 22nd. Good thing I have two X-33s
As many people told me would happen, I'm feeling the result of my second COVID-19 injection. The first injection was a non-event for me, but now, a few hours after No.2, my arm feels leaden and even the weight of a wristwatch seems too much. Unless, of course, I put on this little gem from 1960 which always feels like wearing nothing
Today, is an old Tudor 7017 Date+Day Mostly I love the faded, worn gold-plated 7836 bracelet that now only shows color in the seams (and inside the clasp).
