It somehow seems appropriate to start the new year with an old watch, 85 years young this year

Resolution: Cycle through watches more often rather than giving all available wrist time to the Sea Wolf!

It took me awhile to figure out why your avatar seemed familiar.

Switch to blue 176.010. Second shot captured the crystal's Omega center signage nicely...YaY!

Took this for a littlest bit of a spin today

What struck me: for a sub-40mm watch, it wears surprisingly large (comparison with my 124060 41mm sub - which to me wears surprisingly small ... inception)

It is a matte grey kind of day in the Pacific Northwest, tailor made for the 3594.50

Going with some Rat Pack 50's snazz today. I'm a real swinging cat when I wear this baby! 😁

One of the best magazine covers ever Doctor.

Hardly a day goes by when I don't say to myself, "Damn, high school in the early '70s was the best time ever to be alive." We had it all: football teams that mattered, like the Dolphins, Steelers, and Raiders. Zeppelin and Grand Funk, real muscle cars and cheap 100 octane gas, Blazing Saddles and National Lampoon.

Today, the stuff NL printed then would be 'canceled' and boycotted. And Blazing Saddles couldn't get past the legal department.

🙁

Right there with you, Doc. Here’s my old high school Hamilton from the late ‘60s/early ‘70s. I’ll be 65 this year. How did we get to be the old guys?

Rose gold Polerouter from 1957. This one has the 138SS bumper, not the later micro-rotor. 😀
