Hey, Steve's Constellation is nice too. Don't be giving people an inferiority complex! ...... and thanks. The dial is why I bought it.
.......... with your top condition waffle dial Connie, you don't need any more compliment. The VC in Omegaforum...........that's another story.........
Today, and for the first time in a long time I am wearing a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Watch. Pretty beat up but it keeps going!
Being a 7750 you could run over that thing a few times and it'll keep going, have to say those things are built seriously tough.
We loaned a few dollars on this awhile back and the person never came returned. So it went to the watch man for a check and came back with a clean bill of health and I am wearing it for bit before it goes on the ole auction block.
Have a lot of family friends in the pawn business, not big chains but long family owned independents, from back in the days when if a client screwed you, sending a couple blokes with hammers around to his house was an acceptable recourse. They frown on that these days AFAIK. Some of the stuff this lady has though is simply amazing though, from 40 years in that business.
The place I am working has been in business and the same family since 1924! I have been told great stories of real characters that have been customers over the years. And no, we don't send people out to collect the money. If they don't pay, we sell it. In the store, on eBay or CL. You make your money when you buy in the pawn business.
