Considering the original purchase price in Fujairah and the crap it’s gone through over the last 13 years, this little Seiko has earned its keep. Still keeps time fairly well at +30 s/day. It costs more to service it than to buy a new one; so I just reset it when I wear it.

This new watch just pushes the right buttons for me. Note the really intricate hour and minute hands. The crystal clearly needs more Polywatch love.

Usually my weekend watch but I changed the strap from black to a brown Omega and thought I’d spend the day wearing it.

I checked my watchbox to make sure my birth-year Seamaster De Ville was still in there.
