Been wearing the Shameless Hussy, the Seamaster caliber 520 from '59 with "that" redial. She even went to church yesterday.

We're currently basking in a Texas July. One report says a heat dome will remain over much of the mid-US for the remainder of the month. Don't know about heat domes. We see days like this in July and August. We're being blasted with stiff breezes today. Forecast for tomorrow also which is an unusual accompaniment to high temperatures here. Cooks lawns and gardens.

Man do I have pity for you. I’m in New England we are hitting 90’s with 60-100% humidity which is brutal but when you break 100 and that sun is beating down it is a crazy heat. I was in Arizona last year and it was hitting 113-115 degrees people say “ it’s a dry heat” I told them yeah so is my oven. Take it easy, drink lots of water and I hope it passes. Your area on the news reports is always in red lately

The Swede, artillery issue; right before they dug around in my nose looking for Covid-19 😲 in preparation for a visit to see my elderly mom in Texas:

This one just arrived today and I am beside myself with glee as it is much better in person than I expected:

I bought it on eBay and the seller had the wrong catalog number... this one was actually sold with a bracelet! I am hoping my favorite watchmaker's store can order it for me!

This one isn't coming off the wrist for a while.

Something a little different for this forum. Citizen Promaster Tsuno Bullhead. This is the only quartz for me for the foreseeable future. Came on a leather strap, had to pop for the Citizen bracelet as it wasn't available stock with the champagne dial. I used to have a 8110 from the 70's but I really enjoy this modern iteration. Cheers!!

Early start. A big advantage to having skinny wrists is that a 591/14704-61 can look like a standard sized watch on them.
