Wow, what a cracking piece. These were the oysterquartz case right? Edit: found it now, a 1530. Fantastic, thanks for sharing.
Thank you! You are right, this is a 1530 reference from 1975, using the same case and integrated bracelet as the Oysterquartz that came later in 1977. One of my most cherished watches. Glad you like it!
I'm wearing my Zeppelin GMT watch today. Electric dual-time quartz movement (Swiss Ronda 505.24D). Another pilot type of watch. If I ever go up in a Hot Air Balloon or Blimp, I've got just the watch for it.
So far today NO watch. I used my cell phone when I needed to know the time. Normally at work I do not wear a watch.
There is nothing like pairing an original bracelet with its perfect mate!!! - 1970’s DOXA Sub 300 T “Searambler” Diver - Cal. 2783 from the Synchron era on original Doxa branded BoR Expandro bracelet.
Been wearing the Shameless Hussy, the Seamaster caliber 520 from '59 with "that" redial. She even went to church yesterday. We're currently basking in a Texas July. One report says a heat dome will remain over much of the mid-US for the remainder of the month. Don't know about heat domes. We see days like this in July and August. We're being blasted with stiff breezes today. Forecast for tomorrow also which is an unusual accompaniment to high temperatures here. Cooks lawns and gardens.
