That’s crazy shedding of weight. What did you do ? Less Food or excercise more?

Thanks! I like to say I lost weight the lazy way. I just ate a lot less. I figure I burn so many calories/day by simply being alive. If I consume fewer than that number, the weight drops. It must. Simple conservation of energy physics. Stack enough of those days together, and voila.

The mind is a powerful tool.....

That is so true, sir. For me it was really a metal decision and resolve to achieve the desired goal, and now to keep it. I often remind myself "No one else puts the food in my mouth. Just me." So there's no one else to blame!

Continuing my Ti-themed week here, going with the big Fortis today.

It has the same Lemania 5100 movement as the Sinn EZM1 which famously ditched a number of features to enhance mission critical time-of-day legibility. By contrast, Fortis seemed to embrace the features using their B42 format. The irony to me, and this is purely my opinion, is that the Fortis is equally legible! YaY!

Sunrise this AM
I love the photos, and the geek in me loves looking at the time in the image... often noting that a picture is posted on a different data that is displayed on the date on the watch etc... So I naturally noticed that you were experiencing a sunrise at ~0750 local time. Are you on the southern end of South America, Africa, or Australia? (you don't have to answer, I'm just musing)

Wow! OK. Where I grew up, in NY, the sunrise time today was 0529 local, and where I live now, it was 0629 local. So when I saw your post, I thought you literally meant sunrise... which to happen at 0750 would be in the southern hemisphere.

However, I can admit that I'm waaaay overly literal sometimes. 😎 Have a great weekend, and I hope you enjoyed the sunrise.

EDIT: For the truly geeky folks here, the city with a sunrise at local time closest to the watch image is Wellington, NZ... with a sunrise today at 0748 local time.
