Thank you Sr.!. Yes, it is in very good condition, my dad was a doctor and when he stopped practicing he put his things in boxes and stored them. When he died, we never reviewed the things that he kept, until now that my mom is thinking of selling them. The watch requires service, it is running slow, so it will soon go to the watchmaker.
Love that things just got boxed because death and grief are very hard to deal with but especially when it’s very raw the watch is beautiful and if your mum does decide to sell you should add a letter of provenance into the box with a little history behind its purchase and use. Little touches like that will make it special for the next owner and maybe forever as it continues its journey. Or you could service it and wear it with a smile on your face each time.
