After a long time, I found my dad’s first luxury watch in a box kept in the basement, I thought it was lost. A single owner since the 60’s.
At home in lockdown, and with access to all my watches, I’m rotating/alternating/changing about four times a day but this Seiko seems to be spending more time than most on my wrist.
Thank you Sr.!. Yes, it is in very good condition, my dad was a doctor and when he stopped practicing he put his things in boxes and stored them. When he died, we never reviewed the things that he kept, until now that my mom is thinking of selling them. The watch requires service, it is running slow, so it will soon go to the watchmaker.
This just landed and hasn’t left my wrist!!! It’s a present to myself for a pretty big birthday next week. Hard to capture the true, in person beauty of this dial - I’m in love!
I love this little guy, on his little cheap strap. super affordable Swedish mail order brand from the 60’s or so. AS movement. package in the background is in its way to @Rman. Not watch related
