One man's patina is another man's poison, I suppose....giving this 1936 Hamilton "Clark" some wrist time today. This one definitely comes off when washing my hands. I would like to give a shout out to my WM, Mac, who makes vintage collecting possible. Have a wonderful and healthy weekend, all.
I replaced the solar battery in this one earlier this week after letting sit on a shelf for probably a year or so. The battery died after about ten years of ownership, and I hadn’t been wearing it at all. Looking at it now, I remember why I thought it was cool: it’s solar and beefy. It’s relatively small for a G-Shock, and the negative display gave it a completely blacked out, covert vibe. That same negative display though is a pain to read.
