Seamaster de-ville for a few hours this morning .I used to wear this as my daily for several years but one day while in the garden I was taking it off to do some work and dropped it on the ground . I hastily picked it up and put it in my pocket and only realised several hours later that the bezel was missing ( I searched for hours but couldn’t find it )so it’s pretty much been in its box for about 15 years apart from the handful of times . I know that bezels for these are difficult to get hold of & rather expensive if available ( more than the value of a complete watch ) I guess . I would happily put a non gold bezel on it , just to be able to wear it again without worrying about the crystal falling out .
