Interesting 24hr I’d not seen before.

One question: which is the hour hand and which is the minute hand? Based on the time of your post and the dial, seems the normal short/hour long/minute setup. But based on the dial configuration, it seems the tip of the short is at the inner minute tracks while the tip of the long is at the outer hour track?
Cvalue13, watch arrived yesterday as I was leaving for work. I had to get a wrist shot after trying on the nylon strap that matches the funky dial. You are correct about the hands. The short one is for the hour. I am sure that these types of dials, however rare they are, have been perfected. Here is this morning’s shot. Watch works well!

Recent acquisition being put through its paces for the day. 1964 Timex 21. Not the most exciting watch but inoffensive.

Despite pretty much all auto racing being canceled/postponed this weekend I still have to break out the Gulf NATO.

Nearly 23:30 here and I've been wearing this most of the day.

Do I really have to take it off to go to bed 🙁.

It’s a beautiful watch! And I call dibs!

But not all 24hr dials have minute chapter inside the hour chapter - I’d say few do. The only other one (besides now this of yours) that I know of, has a longer hour hand than minute hand.

Anywho, here’s my own new arrival 24 hour arrival (with normal hours inside minute) - which I’ve not stopped wearing:
