Putting a new Colt through its paces at the gun club range on a Speedy Tuesday ... and trying to decide if its two-tone finish is too flamboyant for a stodgy ol' fogy who prefers the traditional blued finish of it's older friend.

First ever magazine-full fired through the new .38 Super off hand at 10 yards with bargain factory ammunition. It'll do.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but three rounds were not in the red. 😉

Nice group, and I vote blued, but either works in a pinch.

IMHO you can never go wrong buying a Lobster, if you have the opportunity to find one that is in good condition I think you should pull the trigger…👍😉

New to me 212.30.41.61 - this will likely share daily duties with my Speedy and since it’s quartz I never have to worry about setting it! Thoughts on keeping at least one quartz in your collection? (Disregard the incorrect date window I just took it out of the box)

Square eye 6138 Seiko for the mid-week. Band was replaced before I acquired it so I haven’t experienced wearing it on metal as it was designed...curious to track down a metal bracelet for it someday.
