Every time I wear this, I wonder why I don’t wear it more- easily one of the most perfect watches I own.

Today is Dad’s 109th birthday...therefore, I’m wearing two of his watches in remembrance...Waltham Ruby and Hamilton Ross respectively...

The bad news: The wife unit [MacGyverette] has ordered me to take down my original Hasbro GI Joe Adventure Team Commander* [with life-like hair] from the early 1970s. He is seasonally utilized as a Christmas ornament above our fireplace.
It is very sad for me to see GI Joe objectified in that manner.

I do hope that some day we will see all true action figures such as ‘Joe’ finally given the dignity and respect from all people that he has always so dutifully deserved...

Thoughts on the seiko flight master? Got it last month and have been trying it out. Imo very good bang for buck but the glare is very intense from the crystal and case.

Trying out the cork strap. Not a huge fan but it allows the bezel to accentuate a bit more.

I’m not sure about putting mine on. As I mentioned before it doesn’t seem very substantial

I love this thing. Find myself not wearing it often as it’s so clean. Today is vacuum day so I decided it’s a low impact activity safe to wear.

Pilot watch in a submarine.

That is very interesting. I really like that look. I have no Sinn (well sinn watches anyway) I need to look into them.

Thanks! It took a little while to grow on me but I love it now and am contemplating getting another model. The designs are a bit busy, but they are fun tool watches.
