I'm meant to be saving for something big so random watch buying is officially off but I stumbled upon this at an antiques fair yesterday and have wanted one for a while so here's my first Seiko! It's a tad big compared to most watches I wear and its been over polished but its a fun watch! The linen dial is hard to photograph well but here's a 1970 Seiko 6117-6400 World time with 'error' bezel
Something about a Levi's jean jacket, a Panda, and my Rangoon red, 1965 Mustang just makes me feel like some cool combination of Paul Newman and Steve McQueen. Luckily, you guys can't see the rest of me. LOL
Appreciate the '56 Packard Caribbean convertible used as a backdrop. We had a white and green two-tone one in the family when I was a kid. Chose a watch from the watch rolls lurking in the dark confines of the firearms safe for today, a plebeian Enicar that keeps time nicely and deserves wrist time.
Unfortunately I had to attend a funeral for a fellow railroader (my partner for the last decade) I found it only fitting to take out the Railmaster.
It's been a super stressful few days, this has been a constant companion. And no, it's not a soft cushion...
