really like this dial. I dig the strap and it's obviously very rich looking but I'd love to see a rust colored brushed leather strap on this bad boy.

Well Nick, I don't have one to borrow, but there is a "Rust" coloured one quite cheap at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/18mm-STY...1466115?pt=US_Watch_Bands&hash=item20e33e5383
These bands look great with vintage watches I reckon because they are thin, tapered and comfortable. Recommended seller too.
