·I have several 18-size Illinois, including two model 2, grade 4, 11-jewel Railroaders (train engraved on movement), one model 3 transitional key/stem winder (5th pinion), one model 1 key wind hunter, and an 18-size, 21-jewel Bunn Special as well as the 60-hour Bunn Special. But I’m really more of a Hamilton guy.
Then there is that small issue of Dad wearing a 992B during all his years on the engines, steam and diesel electric, so I better favour Hamilton!

·While my Illinois collection isn’t as extensive as that I find them to be pretty irresistible stuff. But having said that, yeah, Hamilton is the way to go. Such beautiful movements.
