I have several 18-size Illinois, including two model 2, grade 4, 11-jewel Railroaders (train engraved on movement), one model 3 transitional key/stem winder (5th pinion), one model 1 key wind hunter, and an 18-size, 21-jewel Bunn Special as well as the 60-hour Bunn Special. But I’m really more of a Hamilton guy.
While my Illinois collection isn’t as extensive as that I find them to be pretty irresistible stuff. But having said that, yeah, Hamilton is the way to go. Such beautiful movements.

Then there is that small issue of Dad wearing a 992B during all his years on the engines, steam and diesel electric, so I better favour Hamilton!

Twenty six Hamilton’s shown here. The two front rows all Hamilton. Not counting several wrist watches and two Hamilton chronometers (one each model XXI and XXII). So, yeah, Hamilton.

Is a job application that requires nearly 3000 words of additional information really a job application?

Lunch with my 85 year old Mom who was pregnant with me when they bought this Speedy in March of 1967.

Right in the feels!

Away for the weekend and managed to leave the Tudor at home!

Everytime I see one of these I regret not buying one

Was wearing the Speedy today at the park with the daughter when an angry swing chain attacked my wrist out of nowhere.
No sweat. PolyWatch to the rescue!

3 minutes later and were as good as new!
