Today I'm wearing my 1000M. It was serviced in 2008 at STS in the UK, the owner at the time elected to have the dial, hands, date wheel and bezel replaced with NOS. Fortunately when I bought it last year it came with all the original parts, bar the hands. I called in to see STS a couple of months ago and dropped off a few watches, including the 1000M, along with the original parts plus a spare set of hands I found on eBay. Simon Freese at STS looked after the restoration of the dial, which had some paint missing, and matching the lume in the hands to that on the dial. The watch was serviced and put back together with the 2008 date wheel (the original had the crown on the right, not so comfortable). It came back this week, I think it looks fantastic and suspect it will be welded to my wrist for some time.
