I'm ready for Speedy Tuesday! I dropped 3 watches at my watchmaker to get a full service in June, including my 145.022-74, my newer 3570.50 Speedy Pro, and my Hamilton Harrison Ford Conservation Chronograph. I just got them back again today. The 145.022-74 was finished about 2 weeks ago and running +6 to +8 sec/day, and so he took it back to get it closer to + 2 sec/day at my request. After Service the Hamilton was losing about 1-2 seconds a day on the wrist while gaining 1-2 on the winder, so he took it back and added a couple of seconds a day for me, just to keep it positive most of the time that I'm wearing it. The Speedy Pro is close to dead on. My vintage Speedy has only gained 0.7 seconds while wearing it since I picked it up at 4PM 7 hours ago. Then I switched to my modern Speedy which I'm wearing now. It has only lost 0.3 seconds in that same 7 hours while I kept it on a winder, so that it would be in multiple positions while I observed the timing.
WOW that’s a beautiful example and one of my absolute favourite Rolex watches .. thanks for sharing..
Tuesday! And as for the back ground. A couple of weeks ago they were little white specs in the background. This is just a few of them now
Never thought I'd say this but... Its Tuesday and I'm wearing a Speedmaster! Not to offend anyone but the white baton hands and twisted lugs just never did it for me and however many times I tried one on they just didn't 'speak to me'. Then one sleepless night I went down a rabbit hole of OF FOIS threads and that was that... What an awesome watch! Its going to be speedy everyday for a while now I reckon
