Love that one Syrte!

Full numeral markers, two-toned track, and willow leaf (? Is that what they are called) hands. Elegant lugs too.

Thank you so much B, I only know about « leaf hands » but willow is so much more poetic 😀
As the song goes, « I get by with a little help from my friends » - this one indeed was dug up by a pal on a flea market in the South of France. Bless his heart he preferred to let me have it for a fair «mate’s price » than to auction it off.

40's UG bumper on vintage Tropic strap and a '69 Jag (my friend's). So many stylish curves.

While I like all the post's I've missed
This ol' thing on Brown Saffiano shoes
"PoorMansHeuer" ? They were built alongside one another & have the same movement.

Is there a Timex Explorer? I want one 😜

Meanwhile this.
Nope ... no direct homage ... but lots of field watches. The Q is a reissue of an archive design. When the Q was released, one guy on the dink was having an aneurism over its GMT notes...Who knew after all this Vintage chasing that I’d own 4 Timex? Just fun.

From the seventies...

In relation to the background. I am a grandfather😀. These guys have bred before but always in a community tank and the young got eaten. In a dedicated tank now, so we will see.
