Celebrating my 39th birthday today. While I unfortunately have to work (just returned from vacation and all out of days off), at least I can wear my favorite watch to celebrate.

Need to eventually polish that big scratch out of the crystal.

I make my own headphones based off the 650 and 600. 😀 Some people wanted me to make for them too, so I started to make some for them too. Search up my username in headphone sites and you'll see. 😉

Currently enjoying a modified HD800S into balanced V281. Source is Hugo TT but it's already obsolete I'm told.

Agreed! Balanced really makes them swing. I got into EE just because of my interest in amps.
I found that the Audeze & Hifiman are very amp dependent, which amp are you running them off? I prefer the Senns over the two though.

Mrspeakers - well... the head of that company is.. quite a character... lots of controversy about him.
I didn't know there were headphone people on OF. Maybe it calls for a separate thread?

I'm HeadphoneAddict on Head-Fi.org forums, and I'll be at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest and CanJam this September in Denver/Aurora. I found the forums to become fatiguing with the same old questions asked over and over. I also could not keep up with all the newest developments in other brands than my favorites - it was costing me a fortune.

I have a plethora of DAC's and Amp's, but my big rig has a PS Audio Perfect Wave Mk2 DAC feeding an Eddie Current ZDT tube amp with the partial silver transformer upgrade. I use a Moon-Audio silver dragon balanced cable with my HD600/650 or Audeze and HiFiMan headphones, and their Black Dragon cable with my HD-800.

I also use a CEntrance HiFi-M8 with my MacBook on all my headphones and IEM, or their BlueDAC for my Balanced Westone and JH Audio in ear monitors.

Seeing how I’ve been wearing various watches this week, decided to pull this one out of the watch box - MIDO Multifort Westwood aka official timepiece of UCLA Athletics. This was a limited run of 400 that came out about 2 years ago but can still be purchased through MIDO directly or the clearance section of Nordstrom Rack. 😵‍💫 🙄 Regardless, it’s a good looking watch... too bad it’s not auto or wind.
