Felt the need to recapture my youth. Newly purchased actual vintage, and for $11 I’m pretty darn happy!
Visit last week to the Firenze boutique reminded me how much I love my 176... that said, while the movements on the newer editions of this model are inhouse they lose the sandwich dial which is one of my fave parts visually of this watch All in all though- regardless of the richemont clever marketing machinations, excess special editions and faux limited releases I thought that the current line up of Pams was smoking hot ... (said as an Omega fanboy first and foremost)
Nice. I've got 2 black dials (and MC12 and a Pilot) and 5 white dials (a mix of Yachting, MC12, Flying Officer, etc.). Plus a blue dial Excel-o-Graph. I've gotten quite addicted to Gallet. I don't offer see the Snow White out there, nor do I own one. But they are a nice clean design. Good luck with the hunt!
I'm going with a Golden Oldie today, much like myself. ha ha 18k JLC 21007 from 1967. Beaver tail strap from Aaron Bespoke (aka combat_straps)
Went to this school almost 30 years ago. Now my son has accepted a summer research position here, so we got a chance to go visit today. I got a kick out of the 24/7 Study Area.
New Omega Seamaster purchased a couple of days ago at an Omega Boutique while on vacation in Sydney, Australia. The watch is still set to Sydney time, as am I. Kinda looks like the gray dial here, but it's the blue one. Now three of my four Omega watches (Speedmaster Moonphase, Ultraman LE, and this Seamaster 300M) have originated in Australia. I don't think I could have predicted that.
Nice Monaco. Always think of Heisenberg when I see one. Square and the contrast of the sub-dials, great.
