Took the caseback off my late father’s Parker automatic watch for the first time today - traced it back to 1965-69, with a German movement and ROWI German band (though he was based in London). I guess it would have been nice if he’d bought a Speedmaster instead, but to me this is priceless as it was bought around the time I was born, so I’m wearing it proudly today, and it still keeps time very accurately 😁

I was being taught earlier about Sourdough bread making and the mess was immense. Now I'm chilling and waiting the arrival of the bread knife .
