Obsessive? Well maybe, in the eyes of some. But I am not uploading pictures of the two Omega bumper automatics I have on the other wrist. On the left, an Accutron Railroader from circa 1964, and on the right, an Accutron 218 from circa 1967. Both watches have year of production on the case backs, but since these both were put together out of bits and pieces, age on these is estimated.

A Tuesday of the Speediest kind.

Carried one aged parent to an appointment for a CT scan this morning, the other on a quick road trip to an ophthalmologist appointment this afternoon. Given an average speed of 75 miles per hour, how long does it take to return from central Abilene, Texas to the nursing home? It takes this long in "Speedy time."

Yeah, it's SPEEDY TUESDAY. That's right - I said it!

So today my wife asked me, "Why are you wearing THAT? Why don't you wear your Rolex?"
I said, "Bitch, shut your fskcking mouth!! Or I'll shut it for you!!! I'm keeping the pimp hand strong, woman!!"

What came out was more like, "Well, Honey, it's like this. Tuesday is special. There's this group of guys online and we all celebrate the Omega Speedmaster on Tuesdays. It's like a tradition."

All I got in return was an eye-roll. She's fluent in Eye-Roll. Like a second language.
But I'm not afraid. So for all of us who get questioned about our Tuesday horological choices, this one's for you:

Getting stuck the mandatory Tuesday thing but any excuse to wear it. I see why it never took off the moon watch sits flat this is bulky. However I think its a cool looking watch
