In reaction to a thread elsewhere on the MB which appears to question the motives of anyone who would wear a ROLEX, and to otherwise impugn the brand that many of us love, I uploaded pictures of this one from my collection. It has a caliber 1210 manual wind, 17-jewel movement, and was likely produced for the English market. Hence the 9-karat gold Oyster case, and 10-karat gold back (back made in Switzerland). I have been unable to nail down a hallmark, so I am unable to check the date letter. I assume the watch to be circa 1950. I am wearing this one today, though I rarely wear it as it looks tiny on my big wrist.

Picture is from last night while watching the Super Bowl, but wore the same watch today. Old reliable SKX pictured next to an equally reliable (but for a different purpose) Rye Old Fashion.
Every time I say to myself, "There can't be another outfit I've never heard of before," somebody here proves me wrong.
😀

It took OmegaForums membership for me to learn about the murkily mysterious MuDu. I inquired about the watch seen here on Beatle's producer George Martin's wrist and was told it looked like a MuDu.

This called for internet research which led me to watch Ebay auctions because I just had to acquire a genuine Mudu. There are not too many Mudu watches merrily ticking away here in the great state of Texas this evening.
Mudu Monday.
Someone clever probably could rewrite the lyrics to the Mamas and Papas tune "Monday Monday" to fit.
