Shaft of light helped me discover a problem. 🙁



There’s a thread of lint on the inside face of the crystal! 😲

(I examined it with a 40 power lense - it’s not caught in the AML 😗 It’s clinging to the inside face of the crystal.).

Supposedly, this watch did not need service right away. Silly me. :whipped:

I can certainly relate, sir...I discovered this thread of lint in my Hammy 950 B at Dunkin’ Donuts after Church last Sunday...had to sprint home from Dunkin’ and bust out the bronze tweezers and everything...

Girard Perregaux 4945.
Probably my most humble watch yet I have hardly taken it off since acquiring from OF. The dial has such subtlety and different shades in varying light, I find it intriguing.
