1936 Feldenheimer.....powered by Omega's first center second hand movement, calibre 23.4sc, introduced in 1935. Early Omega models using this movement include the Naiad, Medicus, Chantilly, Sainte-Christophe and the Monaco. Only the Monaco was available with a gold case. The others used Staybrite cases. A.C. Feldenheimer was a high end jeweler in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

Never gets old ... sadly the trench strap locks away the goodness inside the case.

Now for something completely different. 🙄

Grandfather’s Waltham that he wore to war in 1917, along with an early twenties Omega I picked up on eBay last year.

Maybe I will actually wear both of them today - they are so light and small.

Who needs some fancy GMT? I got it covered. 😀

Quick update: I picked one to wear today. I do have a special place in my heart for vintage enamel dialed wrist watches.

With grime, boots and everything. Tough week weather wise. After the deep freeze, snow storms, time for rain and wind...The Seiko never misses a beat!

Not a vintage watch, but looks very vintage,
ideal winter watch

👍

this is the absolute coolest-looking watch this side of $250 - if only they made it in automatic...
