Again today. As I spent yesterday cleaning and reassembling this, it is still in the try out phase. Unless you run a watch real world for a few days, you don't really know if you've got all the bugs worked out. Keeping good time so far and I was able to set the balance adjustment back to the middle.
Back from the Panerai show. Picked up a freebee Panerai keyring and the latest Patek Phillipe book. Tried on a beautiful Patek 5396 bronze dial, rose gold with matching bracelet and a Patek White Gold 5153G black dial (center circle guilloched) Calatrava with a sapphire back, covered with a steel flip over cover . I would have taken it home today, but the house would be so empty feeling with my wife gone OK, home now so switched back to a mere mortals watch, the 266.
I've been variously wearing these since yesterday: Ranchero (1957) Coral gold Brock (1940) Pink gf Holcomb (1958)
I like these a LOT, if someone has a couple hundred to spend and you're looking at an Invicta, they need to STOP and buy one of these
Amen brotha!!!! Even a Seiko 5 or any one of several Orient models at $100 or less are better than an Invicter.
