Beater LeGant diver this afternoon for snow blowing, shoveling front walkway and clearing out the driveway. Not looking forward to all that and can't wait for children to grow up and do all that (I know).
I gather, as I read the various threads on OF, that I am more the exception than the rule, but I really do wear these watches all day, every day. With great pleasure, I might add. (The last watch I destroyed was when I was six and left a watch in my pants pocket when my mother washed them. Maybe I’m lucky, maybe I’m asking for it. But I’m loving it in the meantime.)
It’s been a while, but here’s a comeback post Loving the stories of ‘A man and his watch’ Been busy on Instagram as: myfriendscallmekc
I picked up, and am really enjoying, the OEM rubber strap that came with the Seiko Marinemaster 300 (SBDX017) for the "Yakushima" (SLA019)
That is exactly the same model that I had through all my High school (mid 1970s). My father bought it for me in maybe 1974 or so. I loved that watch !!! Unfortunately it was stolen in a break-in around 2002. To this day I am sorry that I don't have it anymore Yours look awesome! Congratulations
