Lovely Much More!馃憤
I was very tempted back in the day to buy one but never took the plunge. I find the curved case and the dial with ridiculously big numerals extremely appealing. Very underrated watches. Enjoy yours!

Thank you! I find it really stylish indeed. I was lucky enough to get no. 01/28. Absolutely love this watch, also because of the blue hands.
Funny thing about this watch is, it was once stolen from me, and I called the person who I suspected was the thief and told him that he'd never be able to sell it while the number 01/28 is visible on the back. I told him the fact that its limited to such a small number, would make it near impossible to sell on the black market, and therefore kind of pointless to him since he probably needed the cash. (I knew that this wasn't necessarily 100% true but I thought I'd scare him into returning it). Lo and behold, the next day Mr thief was at my office with my preciousss, apologizing and asking me not to make a police report. So I told him off and decided to let him go. But this little story attached to the watch, makes it one of my favorite pieces!

Cooling our heels in Madrid waiting for our ride to Newark then Chicago. Yesterday a taxi strike in Sevilla forced us to trudge 45 minutes in the dark and rain over medieval cobblestones to the train station. Now we fly into a Nor鈥檈aster in Mid Atlantic. ... fingers crossed.

A housekeeper perhaps? It鈥檚 happened to us as well. Sadly my wife鈥檚 jewelry was probably sold for drugs.

Sorry to hear about our wife's jewellery. you're not going to believe it, but in my case, it was the delivery guy, who was delivering Mcdonalds for my brother!

Wow!!!!!!! A cautionary tale for letting strangers into your house. Yea things kept disappearing. My wallet, just before a trip to China, her jewelry piece by piece, finally gift cards for poor children in gift bags we had assembled. The last was when it finally hit us and we fired her / changed the locks. Our lives were so hectic we were too busy to notice her little crimes.

Fetching the logs for the burner. A bit chilly in Cork this morning.
