It was actually my first time seeing a Big Red Daytona in the flesh. I was ridiculously excited to put it on my wrist. And the 5513 maxi-dial was in virtually unworn condition.

That Big Red is awesome!
Any chance of seeing a close up of that mint 5513? 😎

1976 Seiko 5. A resilient old beast. Pull it out maybe once every year or two. Runs like a top.

Sitting in line in the que to pick up my daughter from school and diggin' on this 70's Seiko on it's original BofR bracelet. I love the dial, the indices, the stick hands....I am not even annoyed by the day/date feature at 3 o'clock. I think she is a keeper.

Yes it was. And I didn't even know I was a Seiko fan boy, but I really like this watch. I just got it back from my watchmaker Wednesday, so I am going to enjoy it a while. I think it is a very clean look and the BofR bracelet is almost as comfortable as my Omega BofR.
