Great great quality, this 1958 Girard Perregaux ref. 7317 with 39 jewels cal. GP22. Unfortunately without the original GF bracelet. Beautifull facets on the inward-twisting lugs, lovely 'v' indices next to the coffin markers, some radium seastar patina on the dial, and ofcourse the typical blue date 😜

Speedy Tuesday rolled into Speedy Wednesday...doing a little bit of Hot Wheels 1/64 scale 1/8 mile drag racing in the motel room with my new Hot Wheels mobile drag kit. For the record, @ChuckMK23 [who has a degree in mathematics] previously did the BIG MATH to get the track length correct for a proper 1/8 mile...thanks, Chuck! Good times! 👍

Pulled this out of the safe yesterday because we were discussing this reference on a thread. I always find that once the watch is on my wrist, it’s hard to put away again. It radiates happiness.
