This Accutron 218 celebrates its 50th year, next year. I sold it brand new, to the original owner, in 1969. A few years back, when he was in failing health, he decided to re-home it by giving it to me. This has been one amazing watch. I am the only one who has worked on it over all of those decades, and aside from the crystal, cell, and gasket, it is all original. I have serviced it twice (IIRC), and it still performs well.

Very cool story and a very very cool watch......

Change to the white dial version of the 417 ES from mid 1950s. This is a real rare timepiece. Can be seen in the book Military Timepieces by Dr. Konrad Knirim, I added a photo with my watch on the respective page.

Finally after many many years I've bought a 911 Flightmaster. Someone's attacked it with a Brillo pad to give it a sort of starburst finish (you can still see the original radial finish underneath!) so it's off to Simon Freese for service, the radial finish to be reapplied (and the sides lapped), a NOS case back fitted, a couple of small bits of restoration (the 10 and a dot of lume to be blended in) and a full service and it will be back on my wrist. Here with a couple of its cousins (the light really doesn't do the 1000M any favours!). I knew I'd like the Flightmaster but this one's so much better than the photos the seller sent and it even works perfectly, I love it. A very happy camper.
