·Finally after many many years I've bought a 911 Flightmaster. Someone's attacked it with a Brillo pad to give it a sort of starburst finish (you can still see the original radial finish underneath!) so it's off to Simon Freese for service, the radial finish to be reapplied (and the sides lapped), a NOS case back fitted, a couple of small bits of restoration (the 10 and a dot of lume to be blended in) and a full service and it will be back on my wrist. Here with a couple of its cousins (the light really doesn't do the 1000M any favours!). I knew I'd like the Flightmaster but this one's so much better than the photos the seller sent and it even works perfectly, I love it. A very happy camper.
