The extract arrived for my high-serial 145.012. Originally delivered to Mexico, and somehow made its way to Australia, now living in the US. The dial is worn, but appeals to me personally. It has some distinctive wear/damage around the sub-dials and the raised step that really define the edges to the naked eye.

This Accutron 218 celebrates its 50th year, next year. I sold it brand new, to the original owner, in 1969. A few years back, when he was in failing health, he decided to re-home it by giving it to me. This has been one amazing watch. I am the only one who has worked on it over all of those decades, and aside from the crystal, cell, and gasket, it is all original. I have serviced it twice (IIRC), and it still performs well.

Very cool story and a very very cool watch......
