I don’t normally change watches during the day, but after picking up my Ultraman at the AD I couldn’t resist...
First day on the wrist for the A 3642. In some ways, this might be the most classic Defy - octagonal case with the khaki fume dial.
Probably the ugliest UG ever made which is probably the reason I like it so much. Naaaah, that's a lie,,,lol. I was forced to take this bad boy as part of a trade from a dealer who plays the watch game way bettter than I could ever hope to... Thankfully he didn't hammer me too bad on price - frankly, I could sell it right now for more than I paid for it,,,,,, but, now I sort of like it. I'll tell you what - I get MOAR compliments on this 7750 than just about any other watch I wear and those who know me know I can wear some pretty nice watches. The comment I hear most is that it looks "expensive". Go figure.
Went went to a Bremont presentation last evening at the Omega AD in Winchester, not a brand I know much about but some interesting watches on display plus a goodie bag to take home. I wore the 57 Speedy I have been wearing for the last couple of weeks touring Scotland. Talking to the sales manager he told me they were already in talks with Omega for an event to celebrate the moon landing anniversary next July. I already have my invite! No information on what the commemorative Speedmaster might be though.
