Handsome watch....interesting case design.....the dial color is great and contrasts beautifully with the markers. I have one of these I am working on, but my dial is an off-white....now you have me looking for another one with your color dial.

You probably know this, but for other OF members who might be interested, this model was known/advertised as both the "Princeton" and "His Excellency". The case design was produced from 1946-1950, and was available with several different dial design. I believe all versions used a 21 jewel movement. Here are a couple period adds.

It is a stunner.

I knew it as Princeton. I have another, a NCAA presentation watch dated 1947, white dial. I’ve posted it before in this thread.

I’ll post better pix on my return using my Sony camera, it presents very well and I love the thick, straight-sided crystal, yet it is low profile on the wrist.
