Been absent since Wednesday evening.
Traded in the Florida beaches for North Carolina mountains.
Having no cell service has been quite nice to be honest.

Going retro today, and for a few days. Livin’ in the past. It’s 1968 again. An era when men wore platform shoes, liesure suits, brightly printed shirts open at the front, nape length hair, and gaudy neck chains. Well, some did. Not me. How many previous owners might this watch have had? No idea. But I get the impression few of them actually wore it. A candidate for the “ugliest” watch? With 28 mm lugs, it’s a b - - - - r to find a strap for.

I thought the whole leisure suit, platform shoes, and neck chains with dangler thing was early to mid-1970s. I remember wearing them to the bank in the mid-1970s (well ... leisure suit, platform shoes, with a tie rather than a dangler) and they were the trend.

I had to "like" your watch Canuck as it is so hideous it deserves a "like". Bet it looks like a piece of work, 28 mm lugs and a 30 mm (?) case.

Delivered today. Look at those lugs!!

Delivered to a former Navy aviator in 2006, and hardly worn (if at all).
