@Mad Dog, try one of these:
It’s not gonna get you any “likes” but it protects and hits the 80s look
Not sure if it will be easy to find the patina to match. You should keep looking.
Brought my Speedy to work today.
Mk 4,5 cal 1045 for the sunday ahead.
Just got home from vacation with only one watch. It was wonderful
Looking good! One watch but many different straps.
Random diver picked from the bay
Tried on the beautiful small vacheron 1921 today!
The sweep looks so starkly bright compared to the rest of the watch-the patina of which is incredibly tasty.
I'd keep up the hunt for a gracefully aged sweep, and in the meantime draw down the brightness of the current sweep to better match the exposed metal of the hour and minute hands. Either way, your Ranger is a gem...
Love that watch and bezel. The bezel looks like it came off an early Fifty Fathoms... is it Bakelite?
Looks like a fine score off the 'bay.
Nice watch! and I love the strap...
