I always like when you post that watch. I have a soft spot for Glycine and I really like story behind yours.
That’s my uncle Pete during WWII. He flew Dauntless dive bombers and that particular picture was taken just before he left for a raid on Rabaul. Later he flew helicopters in Korea. In another thread I mentioned he bought a Rolex and gave it to my grandfather as a gift. The watch I subsequently ruined when I had it redialed. Same guy. Pete was a really neat guy and I even though he’s been gone a long time I keep this picture of him in my office to remind me, not just of him, but what sacrifices life requires sometimes. Here’s the only other wartime picture I have of him. I need to get this one framed.

Reunited at last Ilovemyspeedmaster says the 14904-62 was produced in May 1963 and the 105.002-62 was produced in June 1963 Wearing the Speedmaster today.
