"Speeding"to Abilene today. One stop was to a newly discovered ... wait for it ... watch shop.
Saw a C-Case Connie, stainless with champagne dial and day/date feature, a keen looking Mido Powerwind in its 35mm stainless steel case, a circa 1950 Omega Automatic with center second hand (351 movement perhaps?), and a 1940s (?) Hamilton 992B.
Dial was exactly like this example and I believe the case was like this one as well. Can't recall what this style of dial is called but it was cool. Felt my inner Mad Dog calling on me to take it home.

Good stuff, sir. 馃憤
That鈥檚 a Montgomery dial and a Model #2 case...although a Model #17 case looks fairly similar. 馃憤
